Sahasna Apparel is a Sri Lankan garment manufacturer creating clothing for the local market under the name Anima. Our journey began in Wattegama on 10 June 2016 with a team of 12. Today, 50 people contribute to our work, and our production capacity has grown to 10,000 garments per month.
To us, quality is found in the details. From selecting fabrics and cutting each piece to production and packing, we give every stage the attention it deserves.
Anima is a name of Latin origin, meaning “soul,” “spirit,” or “life force.” In psychology, particularly in the work of Carl Jung, anima refers to the feminine aspect of the unconscious psyche, symbolizing inner emotion, intuition, creativity, and the deeper spiritual self. Together, the name conveys a sense of inner essence, emotional depth, and the unique spirit of an individual.
To us, quality is found in the details. From selecting fabrics and cutting each piece to production and packing, we give every stage the attention it deserves. These checks help us pay attention to the details and maintain the standard of the garments we produce.
A first look at pieces newly arrived this week, for men and women.
